How can my child join a club and play?

ERJSA is not a club, it is an organising body therefore it has no teams of its own. Check out our member clubs and contact the closest one to you for more information. Many advertise in school newsletters in February with the aim of finalising registrations by mid-March each year.

Are games on (weather)?

Always assume games are on. We will post on the Facebook page as soon as possible when there are ground closures or cancellations. ‘Like’ and ‘Follow’ this page to stay up to date.

Please turn up to games if no notice on our Facebook page is posted. Coaches always have discretion in situ to call off games if they are unsafe.

Messages sent to ERJSA about weather will not be responded to, it’s impractical so we’re sure you understand.

How do the age groups work?

The age group your child is assigned to works off the age they turn this calendar year, no matter what month their birthday falls in. So, if for example they turn, or have turned 5, this year, then they will be in U5’s and so on.

How do I stay up to date with news?

‘Like’ and ‘Follow’ our Facebook page to stay up to date. Don’t forget to set notifications to ‘on’. We understand too many notifications can be painful and so during the season we try to only post a couple of times per week.

All news is published on Facebook first and then often shared by clubs.

The home page will also show the last few posts from Facebook.
